Illinois now has 90K conceal carry permit holders
(KTVI) – A year after Illinois became the final state to approve concealed weapons, thousands of gun owners have signed up to carry one.
Applicants have to finish 16-hours of approved training before getting a license. Those lessons can cost up to $200.
One Marine Corps veteran says the peace of mind her permit will bring is worth any cost.
There are now more than 90,000 active concealed carry license-holders in the Land of Lincoln.
